Terms & Conditions 2010 - 2011
In Motion takes great pride in the level of professionalism and quality of dance classes that it offers. In order to maintain this high standard it is important for us to have certain policies in place and enforce them accordingly. Please note that where stated, In Motion also includes its agents, employees and director.
- In Motion operates on a three semester basis: Sept-Dec (Term 1) ; Jan-Mar (Term 2) ; Apr-June (Term 3).
- Once a dancer registers for class(es) they will be charged for each consecutive semester until written termination is received.
- In Motion requires an active credit card number be on file and will be used to process registration and payments and any outstanding amounts. It is the account holders responsibility to inform us of new credit card numbers and expiration dates if necessary.
- In Motion automatically debits payments from the credit card on file at the beginning of each term, unless notified by customer.
- There is a $35 service charge for a returned check.
- If tuition is still outstanding one month after the semester begins the account will automatically incur a non-refundable $30 late fee and the credit card on file will be charged for the outstanding balance and late fee without further notification.
- Tuition still outstanding at the end of the year (July) will be sent to the Bermuda Debt Collection Agency for further processing and all expenses will be at the customer’s expense.
- In Motion does not send out invoices regularly. Invoices are only sent to delinquent accounts at the end of the term and at the end of the school year.
- Semester tuition and costume fees are non-refundable once a dancer is enrolled in a class regardless of the actual number of classes attended.
- In Motion has implemented a new fee structure which divides the cost of the Annual Dance Showcase costume fee of throughout the year. This means that instead of paying the costume fee all at once in Term 1, it is divided between the three terms and included in the tuition amount. The only exception to this will be Parents and Tots classes which will be charged their costume fee in the Spring.
- Please note that this NON-REFUNDABLE costume fee is exclusive of shoes, leotards, bags and any other amenities required in addition to the main costume, and is not dependent on the dancer actually performing in the showcase or continuing classes.
- Dancers joining in Term 2 or 3 will have the previous terms costume fee added directly to their account.
- Dancers participating in the Trashathon to raise money for the purchase of their costumes will have the costume amount credited to their account once pledge monies are received.
- In Motion sends all notes home via email. It is your responsibility to ensure you are receiving our emails on a timely basis and to check the emails sent binder in the waiting room if you do not have email or are unable to access them.
