The In Motion School of Dance is dedicated to creating excellence in dance through outstanding dance training, world class dance experiences, a state of the art dance facility, and professional performances.

We are committed to offering proper dance training in various styles of dance to ensure well rounded, versatile dancers, who are able to pursue dance initiatives overseas in competitive environments. In Motions dance curriculum is taught by our fully qualified and knowledgeable staff and is designed specifically for the needs of our dancers to ensure they reach their highest level.

In Motions Annual Dance Showcase, held in May, has become an integral part of local theatre and is an extension of benefits derived from the students dance and theatre education. As part of their participation, dancers learn stage presence, cooperation and projection of their individual personalities in a safe and nurturing environment.

In Motion believes in providing opportunities to dancers to develop their art through dance workshops, intensives and exposure to first class master teachers and choreographers both locally and overseas.

Our Summer Dance Intensive (SDI) was created in collaboration with the Concepts In Motion Dance Company in an effort to offer serious students local training during the summer months. The SDI provides intensive, pre-professional training with acclaimed master teachers from overseas, in Bermuda. As well as giving dancers the opportunity to quickly progress in a short period of time, the Summer Dance Intensive curriculum exposes students to new styles and perspectives, taught by master instructors and focuses on developing strength, technique, and artistry.

In Motion has been taking dancers abroad to participate in dance intensives and workshops with renowned teachers and choreographers since its inception in 1997. Our dancers have participated in workshops at the North Carolina School of the Arts, Broadway Dance Center and Tri-Cities Ballet Academy in Washington have exposed dancers to an even higher level of dance instruction not available to them in Bermuda.

In Motion encourages dancers to enrich their performance quality and experience through numerous local and charitable performances island wide. These performances include the Project 100 Ball, Agape House Rubber Duck Derby, Coalition For The Protection of Children Telethons, Late Night Shopping, the Premiers Concert, The Bermuda Magic Show, The National Gallery Fundraisers, and the Junior Service League, to name a few.

In Motion is proud to have become synonymous with professionalism and dance excellence in Bermuda.
